congrats on welcoming a daughter and had a hearty laugh abt ur post about explaining vegeterianism and ur sister comment on idli and dosa.
People here in US are the same. My doctor send me to a nutritionalist and the lady said what i ate was unhealthy and said lentils and beans dont give enough protein and i had to eat meat.
how do you explain it to her when she says my diet is absolute crap and she isnt even ready to help me. gives me a list of things i had to eat. which was basically beef , pork, lamb chicken and what not.
my question was what the devil did i scream to you for the past 3 hours. i gave up took the material came home and told my doc it was a waste of time. however congrats and enjoy ur baby .happy new year

Congratulations Vidya! Avani is such a beautiful name. Means Mother Earth! I had a friend whose sister's name was Avani and I always wanted to name my kid that. But it did nto wokr out that way
